Services Science and Engineering Conference, JCIS 2017, Call for Papers – January 2017

The XIIIth edition of SISTEDES/JCIS Conference will take place from 19th-21st July in the city of San Cristóbal de la Laguna, ancient capital of the Canary Islands, first university of the archipelago and World Heritage site by UNESCO. Special interest areas include Services Engineering, Management, Processes and Technologies.

XXVII Spanish R&E Network Event – November 2016

The Spanish Research and Education Network (RedIRIS) 2016 event took place in the City of Valencia. Founded as a Roman colony by the consul Decimus Junius Brutus Callaicus in 138 BC, Valencia is a UNESCO World Intangible Heritage Site both by the “Falles” festival and by the “Water Court”, institution to handle water use conflicts with roots in the roman era. The event took place at the School of Agricultural Engineering and Environment (ETSIAMN) addressing campus networks, efficient resources management and optimization, cloud computing, big data and analytics, education services, corporate applications and speeches focused on key subjects.

Digital Transformation Working Group launched – April 2016

The increasing interest in Digital Transformation process has led to the launching of a Working Group on this subject. Martin Treiber, architecture chair in OSIRIS (Egyptian God of a new life) project, that addressed distributed OSGi in the past, will participate as invited researcher.

The XIth edition of SISTEDES/JCIS Conference will take place from 15th-17th September in the city of Santander, capital of the autonomous community and historical region of Cantabria, which was known as “Portus Victoriae Iuliobrigensium” in the Roman Empire.

Chaired by Juan Manuel Murillo, from the Universitiy of Extremadura, the Service Science and Engineering Conference will allow for traditional submissions and for “Position Statements” targeting experieced researchers. Thoughts and points of view of past, present and future directions of Digital Services will be discussed in the forum. Contributions welcome! (Read more…)

2015 Case Study Announcement- December 2014

Aligned with its objective of sharing experiences on modular and dynamic technologies deployments, OSGi Forum Spain together with Megha (IRIS-Cloud innovation Working Group), have been invited for a joint Science, University and Industry Case Study.

Innnovative Services being incubated in the City of Zaragoza, capital of Aragon, UNESCO World Heritage Site by its aesthetic trend in the Mudéjar architectural style, will drive a reference application case.
